Some photos from day 1 the Szydlowiec International tournament. Both teams have played two games so far with the U9s yet to register a point while the U10s have a draw and a defeat on the board. Zach Cotter has claimed the honour of being the first goalscorer for us in Europe this year.

BALDOYLE PLAYERS HELP NDSL TO CRAIGAVON CUP VICTORY

Congratulations to Baldoyle Utd players MARK NUTLEY and STEPHEN FINN who were selected to represent the NDSL at Sunday's Craigavon Cup competition.

Baldoyle 'keeper Mark Nutley played a key part in the Cup win by not only saving two penaties in the semi final shoot out against Linfield, but also saved another two penalties when the Cup Final went to a spot kick decider against Donegal Schoolboy League.

Well done Mark, Stephen and also Luca Romano who is also in the NDSL U12 squad. All the players have been with Baldoyle Utd for a number of years. Their slection is a tribute to them, their parents and especially their coaches who have helped them develop at Baldoyle over the years.

Thanks to Linfield Football Club (Official) in Belfast for their hospitality in hosting our U14 Premier team today. It was a great experience for our young players to play a club of this calibre, and further proof of the great strides being taken at the club. The teams played out a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes with the Baldoyle Utd goal coming from Conor Gibney.
We have extended an invitation to Linfield FC to visit Brookstone Rd later this year and look forward to welcoming this prestigious Football Club to Baldoyle.

Two more fundraisers for the upcoming trip to Poland.

(1) Old clothes for recycling. Sat 19th May, drop off at the clubhouse from 2-4pm
Old or unwanted clothes (Strictly NO socks or underwear), shoes (not slippers), bags, belts and curtains can earn us some much needed funds. Goods must be reusable or they will be refused. Clear out your wardrobes and help the kids going to Poland while you are at it. Bags will be accepted at the clubhouse this saturday from 2pm-4pm.

(2) Quiz Night in the Racecourse Inn on Friday May 25th at 8.30pm. €40 per team of four. Spot prizes on the night. Always a great night. Get your team together and test your brains 🎓🎓

Armin Gresco was once again the Fastest Shot at the Mayfest with a staggering 68.4mph. This beats his winning score last year of 65.7mph. The video shows Armin and AUL Premier manager Mark Cromwell who came second to Armin last year. This time round Mark had to settle for fourth place though, as Armin retained his title by 5.4mph. He also recorded the top three shots on the day.

More photo's from the Mayfest 2018. The Continental Tyres Women’s National League Inflatables proved to be incredibly popular with big queues from the very start of the day until we had to pull the plug just after 6pm.
A big thank you to our local WNL side Shelbourne Ladies Football Club manager Danny Crowley for his support, and to Shels Ladies players Rachel Graham and Kate Mooney (our own former NDSL player), for lending their support to us on the day too.
Great to meet Mayor Mary McCamley again too.
Huge numbers turned up on a lovely sunny day to enjoy all that Baldoyle can achieve when we all pull together. A fantastic community day.

GREAT DAY AT MAYFEST 2018

Baldoyle MAYFEST turned out to be another great occasion in Racecourse Park. Sunny weather, great local groups and a chance to meet old and new friends.

Our Continental Tyres speed and skill tests proved hugely popular with queues all afternoon long. There was plenty of interest from Mams and Dads getting their youngsters involved in the club. (The Junior Academy for boys and girls could be very busy this Saturday at 10 am!!)

Kate Mooney and Rachel Graham from Shelbourne ladies team, and Fingal Mayor Mary McCamley dropped in to say Hi and Kate hung around to helps us out.

Congratulations to Fingal County Council and all the local organisers.

Malahide Utd won the U10 section with Skerries Town winning the B Final while Dunboyne FC were victorious in the U9 section and Baldoyle Utd won the B Final.

U9s & U10s tournament Bank Holiday Monday

Come on down to the clubhouse tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, to support our U9 & U10 teams as they host an 8 team tournament at both ages. The action starts at 10am with the Finals scheduled for around 2pm.
The event is a fundraiser for both teams who travel to Poland over the June Bank Holiday to represent Baldoyle Utd in a tournament hosted by Akademia Piłkarska Szydłowiec .Clubs attending tomorrow include PortmarnocK AFC, Shelbourne FC Youth Academy, Belvedere FC, Malahide Utd, Howth Celtic, Dunboyne FC, Raheny Utd & Skerries Town.
There will be a Coffee shop open for the day with Fresh baked cakes, sandwiches and snacks as well as Teas, Coffees and soft drinks and even ice creams.
All money raised on the day goes towards the kids trip to Poland.
